  1. Look to take pictures like these with more around. Get the camera closer to the ground and keep the subject not in the middle, but the lower left or right 1/3rd convergence depending on their framing. For the 1/3rd convergence, imagine the photo has two equally spaced vertical lines and two equally spaced horizontal lines. Where the vertical and horizontal lines intercept, those are often considered ideal places for subject placement. If you're doing portraits, put a person on one of the vertical lines. This is part of the "rule of thirds."
